With experience predominantly in the telecommunications, banking and financial services industries, van Wyk brings a focussed knowledge of digital marketing and communications to her new role as head of Marketing for insurtech company Granadilla. For van Wyk, it’s an opportunity to combine her proficiency in digital business with some of her other professional interests, most notably behavioural studies and customer experience design.
Van Wyk is a strong problem solver and a great allrounder to have on the team. She has worked predominantly in digital marketing and consulting for the last decade and also draws on her experience in other disciplines, including public relations, product marketing, brand management and direct marketing to help grow Granadilla.
“As an insurtech start-up, Granadilla offers the opportunity to explore unchartered territory in terms of marketing, communications, brand perception and customer experience. I’m looking forward to further exploring the intersection of these areas at a practical level,” says van Wyk.
