Johannesburg based marketing and communications agency, Clockwork Media, capped off a highly successful year last night, winning PR Agency of the Year at the Financial Mail AdFocus Awards 2017.
Speaking at the event, just minutes after taking to the stage to accept the trophy, Clockwork Media Executive Director, Nic Simmonds, had this to say:
“We are extremely honoured to have been acknowledged by the Financial Mail AdFocus Awards this year. Our goal as an agency is not only to provide once-off services, but holistic campaigns that provide tangible return on investment for our clients. Winning this award also proves that we are not only being recognised for our creative and marketing skills, but also for our all-round business acumen.”
According to AdFocus, entrants were judged against four measures: new business and growth; business retention and relationships; training and industry recognition; as well as empowerment and social responsibility.
This is Clockwork Media’s fourth Agency of the Year recognition, following wins for Agency of the Year at both the EMEA SABRE Awards and the African Excellence Awards, as well as Large Agency of the Year and Most Awarded Agency at the 2017 PRISM Awards. Clockwork Media has also been named the 7th Fastest Growing Agency Globally by the Holmes Report Global PR Agency Rankings 2017.
