Scepticism abounds when it comes to business purpose and whether this has the potential to create real value for businesses in the long-term. Anyone and everyone from the advertising and marketing, brand, and business world is invited to join the discussion around whether business purpose is a fad or the thing that will propel us into the future.
This year’s annual Brand Council South Africa (BCSA) Brand Commune promises thought-provoking and purpose-defining discussions, led by Sipho Hlongwane, Managing Editor for the Daily Vox.
Hlongwane is a prolific journalist, editor and writer. He currently serves as the Managing Editor of The Daily Vox, and has previously worked as a political journalist and columnist for various publications, including Business Day, Mail & Guardian, and Daily Maverick.

Essentially, the conference will give everyone the opportunity to engage on whether business purpose is measurable, if it adds an additional layer of complexity to our strategy, how it translates to business practice, and most importantly, how it impacts profitability.
There are also exciting chances for partners to get involved through sponsorship opportunities, the exposure of which will foster valuable relationships and boost crucial awareness. This is something that the BCSA Brand Commune is always looking for, which is why there are two sponsorship packages available. Each package gives you access to several opportunities linked to the conference which will allow you to become a part of the BCSA Brand Commune 2018, including naming rights to the event, co-branding and marketing opportunities, exposure at the event and more.
