In a move aimed at improving customer convenience Cell C has introduced a new add-to-bill feature for its contract customers who subscribe to black. This means they will now have the option to add their content purchases to their monthly cellphone bill, including movie rentals, purchases, subscriptions and channel packages (live TV). Subscribers can enjoy the content now and pay on the date of their contract billing.
“We are constantly looking at ways to improve the customer experience and convenience on black,” says Precious Nkabinde black’s PR Manager. “We want to make sure our subscribers spend more time enjoying the content and less time on the admin of paying for each content piece.”
To enjoy this service, Cell C contract customers need go onto the black app or visit the website (www.black.co.za), select a subscription package or a movie they would like to watch, choose to pay using Cell C mobile payment and confirm the purchase via a One-Time-Pin (OTP) sent to their phone.
Cell C prepaid customers will follow the same process but continue being billed instantaneously when they purchase content on black.
black provides a combination of series, music, movies, sports, kiddies programming, documentaries, over 60 live TV channels all on one streaming service. Subscribers can also binge on series on FOX+ and National Geographic+ series and documentaries exclusively on black. They can also add their subscriptions to the top five European football club channels – Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Movie buffs can also enjoy Oscar nominated movies such as the civil rights crime thriller, BlackkKlansman and the tragic love story, A Star Is Born.
“Not only are we simplifying the billing process for our Cell C customers but we are also giving them unlimited free data to stream black until the end of June to make sure they continue to enjoy affordable uninterrupted entertainment,” Nkabinde added.
With the exception of movie rentals, when customers opt into a subscription it will be set as recurring. To cancel, they will be required to actively cancel the subscription on their profiles.
