The Brand Barometer Survey, initiated by The Brand Council South Africa, seeks to assess and gain insights into the state of the marketing industry in South Africa. This year marks the 4th Annual Brand Barometer Survey but before we embark on this new journey and are able to interpret and tackle the challenges and opportunities that this year presents, it is important that we first delve more deeply into the results from 2017.
After all, 2017 was the year in which the survey pool was broadened to include a cross-section of respondents from the brand, marketing, communication, research, and design industry. This holistic viewpoint provided us with more accurate insights into the myriad of strengths and weaknesses that we face.
To discover and understand the results from 2017, you are invited to a complementary open session, hosted by the BCSA. The survey was conducted by Columinate, a leading full-service, modern market research agency that’s known (and awarded) for “making clever simple”.
During this open session, which all are welcome to attend, the key sentiments of the 2017 Brand Barometer Survey will be discussed, including the crucial role that brand marketing can play in our country’s evolving socio-economic environment and how we can influence the mood of the nation for the better.
