Strategic content and production agency 10th Street won Gold and Leader awards at the 2017 Assegai Integrated Awards last week, in its first time entering the prestigious show.
The accolades, organised by the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA), are a mark of excellence in integrated marketing. Rather than giving honours for extravagant productions fuelled by enormous budgets, the Assegais recognise “breakthrough strategy, creative brilliance and outstanding results” in all direct marketing media, from mail and print to digital.
10th Street, a relatively young production agency, took home a Gold award in the social media category for the Edgars Active “Free Your Style” campaign, which it executed in partnership with Promise Digital. It also won a Craft Leader Award for its production work on haircare brand Darling’s “Big Thank You” campaign in the branded content category, partnering with Conversation Lab.
“The success of our campaigns is driven by our clients’ vision, our partners’ collaborative spirit and our team’s ability to execute an innovative approach to telling great stories using online video,” says Darren Kerr, executive producer and director at 10th Street. “We have always maintained great production quality, ensuring that the content can live on any medium.”
