After years of exponential growth and support from both the industry and its readers, Contact Media & Communications’ OnRoute magazine is delighted to announce Angie Snyman as the new editor on the title. OnRoute has been a travel companion to South African families and road users for the past five years and we look forward to having Angie take the reins, steering OnRoute towards its future successes.“I’m looking forward to working with the passionate and dynamic team that makes up Contact Media,” says Angie, “OnRoute is a wonderful magazine to be associated with. As a proudly South African wife and mother of two who are keen travellers, I look forward to contributing positively and authentically to the growth of the title.”
Angie is well versed within the media industry, with expertise in advertising, copywriting, radio, sales and, of course, print! She has had over 12 years’ experience in sub- and copy-editing and has also freelanced with Contact Media & Communications for the past three years. She says, “Becoming a fixture in the team seemed like a pretty natural progression, having worked on most of its titles to date!”
In light of Angie’s extensive and invaluable experience, Contact Media & Communications, publishers of OnRoute magazine, is proud to call Angie a new member of the team, as Content Manager of Contact Media & Communications. In conjunction with the announcement, the company has officially changed OnRoute’s tag line to “Your Southern African Travel Companion”, as a result of its footprint stretching outside of the borders of South Africa. We look forward to what 2018 holds both for OnRoute and for the Contact Media & Communications team as a whole.
