Jameson, the blended Irish whiskey produced by the Irish Distillers subsidiary of Pernod Ricard, is launching the newest variant in its Jameson Caskmates range with a series of activations from Cape Town agency, HaveYouHeard, kicking off in the Mother City.
Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition is aged in IPA barrels to enhance the smooth taste of Jameson with a fresh, citrusy finish. Served with tonic water and a slice of lemon, it’s refreshing and crisp: ideal for summer days and evenings.
The first activation, at Tigers Milk in Kloof Street earlier this month, will be followed by other pop-up activations at select city spots in both Cape Town and Johannesburg through November and December. These will include opportunities for thirsty participants to acquire limited editions of Jameson Connects tote bags designed by illustrators Jason Marz and African Ginger, and are linked to promotion on social media.
