IAS is hosting this Masterclass for Marketers titled “Building Marketing Capability” which will be an interactive session to explore the concept of marketing capabilities and how best to build them in your organization.
Leading the discussion will be Nicola Kleyn, Dean at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), and she will cover the following:

About Nicola Kleyn
Nicola is an Associate Professor and the Dean at the University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). Nicola is passionate about working with organisations to build strong brands and reputations by communicating and delivering value across stakeholder groups. In addition to her executive management responsibilities at GIBS, Nicola is an active researcher and teacher at GIBS. Where her area of focus is on the topics of corporate marketing, brand and reputation management, and customer-centricity.
Nicola has published on the topics of business ethics, banding and reputation management in a number of local and international academic journals including the California Management Review and the European Journal of Marketing. She is a member of the Marketing Association (South Africa) and the Senate of the University of Pretoria, a director of GIBS as well as the Brand Council of South Africa, and a council member of St Peter’s Prep School.
